“Irresistible Waves”

This weeks sermon was inspired by a trip to the beach, the Biblical characters of Jonah, Job, and Peter, as well as Psalm 42:5-8 and Matthew 14:22-33

Here are the reflection questions and faith challenge:

In the last year, when did you feel the most connected to God, family, and nature?  Where were you?  Who was with you?

Has there ever been a time in your life when you felt God calling you to “come?”  What was God calling you to do?  Whatever God was calling you to do; whether it was caring for a neighbor in need, forgiving a family member, coming to church, taking a step of growth in some area of your life,  reading your bible, or giving more faithfully: did you do it?  Remember Peter this week, a fallible man, just like us, and commit to follow through on what God is calling you to?  Make sure to share with someone you trust what God is calling you to do.
